Privacy policy

gofood ("we") is Canadian software for restaurants. This policy explains what we collect on gofood.ca, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only. The gofood product that restaurants use, and the ordering sites restaurants run on it, are covered by separate terms.

What we collect

When you book a demo, the form sends us:

• your name, restaurant name and email address
• your phone number, if you give it
• what you use today, how many locations you have and what you'd like to see
• anything you write in the message box

When you browse the site, we count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you: we see totals such as how many people visited a page and from which country, not who you are.

Why we use it

We use your demo request only to reply to you, set up and run your demo, and follow up about gofood. We don't sell it, rent it or share it for anyone else's marketing. We use page-view totals to see which pages are useful and improve the site.

Who handles it for us

• Microsoft Azure hosts the website and the form.
• Zoho ZeptoMail delivers your demo request to our inbox as an email.
• Cloudflare runs our domain and the page-view counts.

They process data only to provide these services to us. Some of them may process it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local law.

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept in our email only as long as we need them to talk with you about gofood. If you ask us to delete yours, we will.

Cookies

gofood.ca doesn't set cookies or use advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent to follow-ups at any time. Email info@gofood.ca and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Questions about privacy go to info@gofood.ca.
